The Nestle Employees Cooperative Credit Society Ltd., Near MIBK High School, Kadsal, Khandepar, Usgao, Ponda - Goa. was registered in the Office of the Asstt. Registrar of Cooperative Societies in Ponda Goa on 20th April 2012 with 11 promoter members and Rs. 11000/- subscribed as share capital with Shri Dattaprasad R. Gawas as Chief Promoter.The actual business operation started and 1st Board meeting of society was taken on 6th June 2012.

The managing committee were formed consist of Shri Shivanand D. Volvoikar, Shri Yogesh V. Prabhugaonkar, Shri Dattaprasad R. Gawas elected as Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary/Director respectively. Board members elected were Shri Amol V. Ghadigaonkar, Shri Rupesh L. Prabhu, Shri Narendra V. Gawas, Shri Rupesh V. Kamat, Shri Swapnil Bhomkar & Shri Sunil G. Parab.

Initially the area of operation was within area of Nestle Ponda Factory, Usgao, Ponda Goa. The society started with a view to meet the economic, social & educational aspirations of its members. The society believes in values of Self help, Self responsibility, Equality, Democracy and Mutual Faith.

The Society has achieved Good governance and a committed management with the Board of Directors with keen interest in the well-being of the Society and has been instrumental for Nestle Employee Cooperative Credit Society Ltd. in reaching greater heights in a very short period.
