About Us
Nestle Employees Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. has been formed with the kind co-operation of management & employees of Nestle India Ltd. and registered under registrar of co-operative societies Ponda zone, Ponda-Goa on 20th April 2012 and it bears registration code symbol no ARCS/PZ/Credit/10(a)/63/Goa & it is classified as "Resource Society" under sub-classification no. 10(a) as "Credit Resource Society" in terms of sub-rules(1) of Rule 8 of Goa Cooperative Societies Rule 2003 for the state of Goa.
The main aim & object of the Cooperative society is to fulfill the credit needs of the employees working in Nestle Ponda factory, for socio-economical development of its members & encouraging habit of saving & intend to help its members by extending financial assistance in terms of loans for the needy members on the reasonable terms, conditions & rule framed for the purpose & as approved by the Registrar of Cooperative societies, Government of Goa.
Objectives of the Society
1. To encourage the habit of saving among its members by mobilizing regular monthly Thrift / Cumulative deposits (500 / 1000 / 1500 / 2000). Savings, Recurring, Fixed & other types of deposits.
2. To provide financial assistance in the form of loan to needy members for all reasonable terms & conditions.
3. To offer retirement benefit & death relief services to its members.
4. To promote economic & social development of its members either by itself or in cooperation with other organization.
Membership & Contribution
Member: Any person who is an employee of Nestle Ponda Factory & Working in any of its institutions situated within the area of operations as specified under by-law No.4 (14). The employee of Nestle Ponda can avail membership of society by paying Rs.10 towards membership & further he /she shall contribute fixed monthly contribution of Rs. 500 / 1000/ 1500 / 2000 towards share & cumulative deposit.
